The platform on Ibiza

Whether you are looking for the most beautiful houses, the best beaches or the tastiest restaurants in Ibiza, Residence Ibiza is the platform for you. This startup is fast becoming the leading platform for everyone who wants the best of this beautiful island.

The assignment

There was a name and a goal. We were tasked with making it strong all the way from A to Z. The complete branding had to be done, and then a web application built. Houses, boats, restaurants, hotels all had to be bookable. Visitors should also be able to discover Ibiza through this platform.

Start

After several sessions, we found out what the higher goals and deeper values of Residence Ibiza are. We also conducted extensive market research and looked at opportunities. After this process, we started working on a comprehensive branding concept.

Branding

From elaborate to simple & recognisable

Residence Ibiza is a platform that brings together the complete offer of Ibiza. This brought many possibilities with the corporate identity, but at the same time many pitfalls. The challenge was to keep it simple and monotonous. This was done by coming back to two typographies, three colours and a very abstract form language, among other things, in which everything is reflected.

Concepts that turn an idea into visual examples

Platform realisation

Once the branding was final, we started developing the platform. The brand book was accurately adopted into the web design, from there we started building with the latest techniques.

The frontend was created using the Javascript framework Next.js. This solution ensures optimum speed and an SPA (Single Page Application) experience.

Average 98+ speed scores based on Google Lighthouse

We let the front end communicate with a headless CMS. This ensures scalability for the long term. The CMS can communicate with the current platform, but will also be able to communicate with the app in the future.

The CMS ensures that all content in the website is manageable. All data on the platform comes from this CMS with an API.
