How important is good web design?

Very important as far as we are concerned

As a company, it is now more important than ever to be visible online. While some websites serve as business cards, others earn their money from these visitors. And if they are on your website anyway, then you want them to take action (conversion). That could be placing items in the shopping basket, but also contacting you or filling in a form. Web design plays a crucial role in this. And… it has to look a bit slick, of course.

The first impression

You can only make a first impression once. That’s why it’s better to do it right. We believe that a web design consists of two parts: user experience design and user interface design. Both serve to optimise the user experience, so visitors can easily find what they are looking for.

User experience design

The first step of good web design is to look at the UX, or user experience. Research and analysis play a major role here. It is important to look at the issue rationally in order to realise sustainable improvements. For example, A/B testing is used to find out what works and what does not.

User interface design

After an extensive look at the user experience at the back, the next step is the user interface design. Here, we look at the appearance of the website and whether it meets the needs of your visitors. A good interface is stimulating and holds the attention of visitors, to make them take action.

Benefits of UX and UI

If you have a good web design designed by a full-service internet agency, then this design consists of the above two designs. Separately, these two designs are actually worth nothing. A good interface can be very good, but if it’s not thought through, it can be frustrating for the visitor and cause a higher bounce rate. With a good web design you will notice that more people will convert, your website will be found better organically and your customer satisfaction will shoot up. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want that?

How we develop a web design

How do we achieve a unique web design? We also start with the design of a user experience deisgn, after which we get to work on the user interface design. Curious how we do it exactly?
